PhiFoundation.org mission statement: "Even in your darkest hour, I do not abandon you."
Bernard Jensen, D.C. (lived for 92 years) said "Somehow bowel management got lost and it became something that no one wanted to talk about." The famous Dr John Kellogg (cereal company named after him) said that 90% of the diseases of civilization are due to improper functioning of the bowel. He lived to the age of 91. He was an expert on intestinal sanitation.
Kevin Trudeau says in Natural Cures
"I can guarantee you that in your colon you have anywhere from 3 to 15 pounds of undigested fecal matter. This toxic material makes it more difficult for you to absorb nutrients, it slows down your metabolism, it makes you susceptible to all types of allergies including food allergies, gives you constipation, gas, indigestion, and acid reflux, and is a breeding ground for Candida yeast [which can make you depressed]."
Dr Norman Walker (D.Sc., PhD.) lived until he was 99 years old (January 4, 1886 to June 6, 1985)! He said, in Colon Health, The Key to Vibrant Life, "Few of us realize that failure to effectively eliminate waste products from the body causes so much fermentation and putrefaction (rotting of waste matter) in the ...colon...that the neglected accumulation of waste can and frequently does, result in a lingering demise!"
You can go to a professional and get a colonic to clean out all the waste in the colon. Otherwise here are directions for giving yourself an enema. Buy an enema kit from a drugstore. Put body temperature water in the bag. Hang in bathroom no higher than 3 feet above the floor. Put lubricant on tip. Lie on floor. Insert tip and control the flow of water with the clamp. That is how simple it is.
For a detailed explanation I will use Mosby's 2,000 page Medical, Nursing & Allied Health Dictionary ( 1994). It defines colonic irrigation but does not describe how to do it since it is not a medical procedure that is used like the enema is. Make sure air is dispelled by letting some of the water come out of the tip before inserting. The enema bag should be 45 cm (about 1.5 feet) above the hips. The water (use distilled water if possible) should be at between 99 F and 105 F. "The enema is given slowly to avoid sudden dissension that would cause peristalsis, or spasm, and increased discomfort."
It says to lie on back or on left side with knees drawn up to chest. You could also lie on right side first as water fills descending colon. Then lie on back @20 seconds and then lie on left side as it fills ascending colon. Then you sit on toilet and expel it. That is if you can empty most of the bag at one time. If you are too uncomfortable before that, you can expel and repeat. This is a quick way to lose some weight. You don't need to weigh how much comes out. Instead you can use mathematics. Weigh yourself before and after and subtract the difference to determine how much weight you got rid of.
There is a position that uses gravity to help water fill the colon. You lie on your stomach and bring your right knee up under you so that you are turning toward lying on you left side. So this way you are lying half way between lying on your stomach and lying on your left side. This position comes from a chiropractor's website on enemas Some chiropractors give enemas and they use tables where they can tilt it to let gravity help fill the colon with water.
Here is something that I found on the internet. Zookeeper Friedrich Riesfeldt ( Paderborn , Germany ) fed his constipated elephant 22 doses of animal laxative and more than a bushel of berries, figs and prunes before the plugged-up pachyderm finally got relief.
Investigators say ill-fated Friedrich, 46, was attempting to give the ailing elephant an olive oil enema when the relieved beast unloaded. The sheer force of the elephant's unexpected defecation knocked Mr. Riesfeldt to the ground where he struck his head on a rock as the elephant continued to evacuate 200 pounds of dung on top of him.
The human body is based on 5 and phi-- the golden ratio. The torso has 5 appendages. Each limb has 5 appendages. The face has 5 holes in it. Raise 5 to the 0.5 power (the square root of 5). Multiply it by 0.5 and add 0.5 and you get phi. All animals are based on phi. It is the ratio where when you divide something into 2 parts, the larger part is to the smaller part as the whole is to the larger part. Divide the smaller part into the larger part and you get a number larger than 1 (1.6180339...). Divide the larger number into the smaller number and you get the same number without the 1 (0.6180339...). In other words the inverse of phi is the same number but without the 1. The length of your head compared to the width of your head, the length of your upper body (above navel) compared to the length of your lower body and the length of your lower arm compared to the length of your upper arm are just some of the places on your body that have the golden ratio.
All trees and plants are based on the Fibonacci sequence where the next number is the sum of the two previous numbers (1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13...). As this gets higher, the ratio of 2 numbers in sequence approaches phi-- the golden ratio. There is the very famous drawing of Leonardo Da Vinci of man (see drawing on the left). He drew this to go in his friend's book, The Divine Proportion, to illustrate phi-- the golden ratio.
